Iida Rauma (born 1984) is a writer who divides her time between the cities of Turku and Helsinki, and who has a Master’s degree in Political Science. Her debut novel, The Book of Disappearances (2011), was nominated for the literature prize of Helsingin Sanomat. Rauma’s second novel, About Sex and Mathematics (2015), was awarded the Kalevi Jäntti literature prize and Tulenkantajat export prize. Rauma’s hobbies include linocut, writing music and editing, Ménage à trois, a queer-feminist pornography magazine.
